Pen Microneedle Mesotherapy (DERMAFIX)
Dermafix is a device that allows the active substances to be implemented into the skin using pulsating needles (automated skin pricking). Preciseness, with which Dermafix punctures epidermis and dermis, introducing active substances, aims to evenly stimulate fibroblasts and to form collagen and elastin, which are responsible for skin elasticity and its young appearance. The resulting, controlled microdamage of the epidermis uses the natural abilities of the body, its inherent regenerative capacity and the production of collagen. Precision of the device allows to isolate three phases of the skin cells mechanism and reconstruction of its structure. The treatment itself is comfortable for the patient and the precision with which the device punctures the skin and introduces active ingredients is incomparable to traditional mesotherapy treatments. Dermafix is equipped with a head with a dozen or so microneedles of the right length which precisely pierce the skin of the face, neck and neckline or any other place on the body, all in order to boost the stimulation of the epidermis. The salutary, regenerative and repair processes take place thanks to micro-damage to the skin, which in turn leads to intensive stimulation and production of collagen.
The advantage of this treatment is:
- Lesser pain and greater comfort for the patient than in the case of traditional mesotherapy
- Short procedure and convalescence time
- Automated puncture depth control
The treatment significantly improves skin structure, its blood circulation and hydration. It stimulates cell division and tissue renewal and regeneration processes. Controlled punctures cause micro-injuries and micro-bleeding, which in turn contribute to the release of growth factors. The reduction of mimic wrinkles takes place, the oval and contour of the face is noticeably improved, and the skin becomes more firm and thickened.
Changes on face/ neck/ cleavage:
- the skin becomes tense and firm
- the face oval is improved
- reactivation of all skin functions
- laugh lines are reduced
- skin discolorations, scars and stretch marks disappear or are much less visible
- reduction of enlarged pores
How does the procedure work?
Each procedure is preceded by a thorough consultation with a medical doctor. During such a meeting the doctor qualifies the patient for the procedure and determines the effect of the therapy. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes about 20 minutes. It consists in a controlled, intense, very dense and at a determined depth puncturing selected areas of the face, neck or cleavage. During the procedure, tens of thousands of tiny punctures are created on the face. After the puncture process is completed, the platelet-rich fibrin (iPRF) collected from the patient or a selected cocktail of active ingredients is applied. They penetrate into the deep layers of the skin and contribute to the expected effects.
Before commencing the procedure, the patient should be in generally good physical condition.
Additional contraindications for the treatment with microneedles mesotherapy are:
- cold, cold sores in active state
- pregnancy and breast-feeding
- allergy to the administered preparation
- diabetes (not rebalanced)
- cancer disease
- selected autoimmune diseases
How often the procedure should be performed?
Needle mesotherapy procedures should be performed in a series. The amount of treatments required depends on the condition of the skin, individual predispositions and the expected results, and usually it is about 4-5 treatments at intervals of 15 to 30 days. After completing the therapy, it is recommended to perform the so-called reminiscent treatment once every 4-6 months.
We especially recommend combining Dermafix with i-PRF plasma to our patients. The platelet rich fibrin is a breakthrough in deep rejuvenation of the skin, based on growth factors and stem cells derived from the patient’s blood.
The combination of these two treatments (Dermafix with the i-PRF procedure) greatly increases the efficiency of both procedures.
